I have to say, as someone who is now 50.5 years old that since I have been doing Zumba, I find that I can multi-task better and my memory has improved. According to a recent study by Stanford dancing is the only physical activity to protection against dementia. See this link for details about this study. Dancing Makes You Smarter.
Is one of your New Year’s resolutions about doing something healthy for your mind and body? That was one of my resolutions last year and it took me three months to figure out how I could do that. I didn’t want it to just be about eating differently although I did that but it was hard and not so much fun. Then I discovered Zumba at a small yoga studio. After one class I was hooked. Just to make sure I was on the right track I tried Zumba at various studios in the Naperville area and I always walked away from these classes on a high, feeling like I just left a party back in the day. I knew this was something I wanted to teach and share with my family and friends. It was so much fun and oh yeah it was good for my mind and body. If you are ready to step outside the box and make the pursuit of health a fun and exciting experience, sign up for one of my FREE classes. Our 30 minute lunch time classes are a great way to get the party started!
